The newly re-elected president of Australia’s Telecommunications Association (TelSoc), Reg Coutts, says Australia has fallen “somewhat behind” its APAC neighbours in recent years in developing the technologies that will be required to flourish in the 21st century.

Internet Australia, the not-for-profit peak body that represents Internet users, has called for a national debate on the importance of broadband in the wake of reports that the volume of consumer complaints about the NBN has more than doubled in the June to December 2016 period.
